Site Coordinator- Experience in a school age program along with a degree required for this position. You will be responsible for the coordination and execution of out of school time programming. The program is located in a Horizon child care center and will require collaborating with school officials and community partners. Maintain and oversee documentation for grants and other programs that are a part of Horizon. Salary Range: $40,500-$44,500 (based on educational degree obtained at hire)
Location: Responsibilities at two local Horizon childcare centers and the schools they service. Split time between Dewhurst and South Elyria Horizon Education Centers. Dewhurst is located at 10347 Dewhurst Rd. and South Elyria is located at 109 Louden Court.
Job Description:
- Responsible for coordination and execution of afterschool programming with the partner school
- Program is located inside a Horizon Center
- Must maintain collaborative relationship with site school principal and personnel, regular meetings required
- Provide academic coaching with identified students during school day
- Data collection and good record keeping for ODJFS and 21st Century programs
- Development of all staff for the school-age program
- Plan and implement process for academic success of afterschool students, working with families and school day staff
- Meet grant goals for academic success, youth development and parent engagement
- Support and help SAC staff in creating and implementing lesson plans and activities
- Complete a CAPA portfolio for 21st CCLC grant program
- Meet program goals identified by the school
- Develop working relationship with partner Horizon Center and Team21
- Identify, contract, and work with community partnerships to enrich and strengthen program
- Attend monthly Team 21 meetings at Horizon admin building and monthly SAC meetings at North Olmsted Library
- All other duties as needed/assigned
Additional Information:
- General Hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday (adjust to meet specific site hours)
- Must pass health screenings, satisfactorily complete state and federal background/fingerprint checks
- Must have excellent writing skills, computer skills and organizational skills
- Prefer a BA in education with licensure. A social work or related field may be considered.

- Occasional travel required for professional development and/or marketing
Qualifications:
- Degree in education or related field (social work, psychology etc.) or
- Level 3 CPL preferred (www.OCCRRA.org)
- Willingness to update job knowledge with required ODJFS Licensing Rules and SUTQ professional development opportunities and industry trends
- Demonstrate cross cultural competency while working with Horizon's diverse population
