Afternoon Tutor- Tutoring experience along with a Bachelor's degree or higher required for this position. A degree in education preferred. You will work on math and reading concepts with small groups of our school-age children. Prepare and implement lessons and maintain required documentation. Part-Time afternoon position, hours are flexible around 3pm until 6pm. Up to 12 hours maximum. Pay is $30.00 per hour.

Job Description:

• Plan and write individualized lessons to build reading or math skills
• Conduct after-school reading and math tutoring in small groups
• Use assessments from academic programs to identify student needs
• Implement learning activities with children
• Maintain documentation for services provided
  • Utilize a first and last name list with date, in a binder
• Meet with parents and families to discuss progress
• Paperwork and guidelines are impacted by grant funding requirements
• Work with staff to monitor the use of virtual academic curriculum
• Establish and maintain communication via email childs school day teacher (work with the site administrator to establish)
• Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Education preferred. A Bachelor degree or higher along with professional tutoring experience may be accepted.
