School Age Drivers

Do you love to drive! Horizon is looking for experienced drivers who will care for the children during class time and who are able to help take children to school and back to the childcare center during the school year and on field trips during our Summer Camp. Please see below for more information!

School Age Driver- Professional driving experience preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing and able to drive a 14-passenger school bus and 6-passenger minivan. No CDL is required. Must be 21 years of age to drive Horizon vehicles. You will be trained to safely transport children to and from local schools and field trips in the summer.

Pay is $16.00 per hour.

The centers below are hiring now for the rest of the school year. A few select schools are also bringing on more drivers just for the summer months. Summer hours are typically fulltime Monday through Friday 8am-5pm (hours may vary per site and depending on the field trip).

Locations Hiring Now:

Berea Center 555 West Bagley Rd in Berea, Ohio. Split shift hours are 7am-9:30am and 2pm-4:30pm or 6pm M-F

Old Brooklyn Center 4142 Pearl Rd in Cleveland, Ohio. Hours are 12pm-6pm M-F

Cascade Center 233 Bond Street in Elyria Ohio. Hours are 2pm-4pm or 2-6pm M-F

South Lorain Center 4911 Grove Ave in Lorain, Ohio. Hours are a split shift 7am-9am and 2pm-4pm M-F

*South Elyria Center 109 Louden Ct. in Elyria, Ohio

*East Lorain Center 2500 Colorado Ave in Lorain, Ohio
