What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Horizon Eye Physicians?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtaining patient history to include the chief complaint, history of present illness, prior health history, family health history, allergies and medications.
- Performing visual acuity, Amsler grid testing, confrontational field testing, tonopen and applanation tonometry.
- Instillation of dilating drops.
- Performing duties of writer/scribe.
- Maintaining flow of patients.
- Assisting in administrative or front desk duties when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
