Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the revenue cycle processes, ensuring accurate billing, and collections via Waystar platforms and EclinicalWorks. This position requires a strong understanding of diagnosis codes, friendly demeanor, practicality and fast paced mind set.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Waystar platform
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
- Process medical billing claims accurately and efficiently with 95% cllean initial submission.
- Conduct follow-ups on outstanding claims and manage the medical collection process via Waystar dashboard.
- Collaborate with colleagues and open to evolving processes
- Assist in the resolution of billing inquiries from patients
Requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Waystar experience in all platforms
- EclinicalWorks experience
- ADS (advanced data systems) experience
- Outpatient medical office billing experience
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, providers, colleagues, and insurance representatives
