Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-home sales calls for mostly residential homeowners (light commercial work)
- Evaluate client's needs and offer customized fencing solutions
- Commit and follow our sales process
- Create fencing proposal and present the options to the client
- Work independently with minimal supervision, within a flexible schedule keeping set appointment times with clients
- Close sales
- Develop knowledge of fencing products and materials and work with fence installers to provide the best recommendations
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes, materials, and drawings in our CRM system.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the fencing industry or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ability to understand and learn the products and materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
- Ability to think through problematic situations suggesting viable solutions to customers
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A flexible schedule is required, may require serving customer's in the evening and weekends.
