Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Records Information Manager IV (RIM IV) to provide technical and operational support for our records management and docketing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing records, utilizing automated information systems, and supporting the development and execution of comprehensive records management strategies. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of our information assets and directly supports the Records Information Manager V.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational support for records management programs, records centers, dockets, and other information services.
- Support the Records Information Manager V in planning and program development initiatives.
- Conduct analyses to identify records or docket management issues and assist in designing strategic solutions.
- Manage and supervise junior records staff, ensuring adherence to established records management protocols.
- Respond to internal and external records-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform collection maintenance and retrieval tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with retention schedules.
- Input, review, and maintain metadata to ensure records are correctly categorized and easily retrievable.
- Maintain equipment related to records management operations.
- Utilize automated information systems, such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS), to manage digital records and ensure efficient workflows.
- Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and the implementation of policies to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in records management or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with at least one automated information system (e.g., FDMS or equivalent).
- Education: A college degree is preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with records management software and systems.
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor junior team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a government or highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with federal records management requirements and best practices.
- Certification in Records Management (CRM) or Information Governance is a plus.

Pay: $67,816.00 - $73,149.00 per year
