What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Photography Agent position at Horizon Goodwill Industries?
Job Summary: The E-Commerce Photographer is primarily responsible for taking quality photographs of donated product to meet industry standards and be sold on the e-commerce auction-based website.
Essential Functions:
- Photograph items to department standards for aesthetic presentation and composition.
- Work aside listing agents for standards of photos to match item description.
- Proficient in Apple/IOS and Android devices, apps, and camera functions within.
- Proficient in search engine user and basic computer skills.
- Provide customer service via email and phone to ensure prompt response to customer inquiries, including questions/concerns/issues about listed items and correcting errors.
- Assist in the expansion of the new listing software by staying current on new functions, requesting additional apps and features, providing feedback, and attending any necessary webinars.
- Achieve department production goals for photographing items and average sales goals.
- Attend on-going training, monthly staff meetings, and scheduled 1 on 1s.
- Ensure work areas are maintained, organized, clean and safe.
- Assist in the training of new hires when necessary.
- Ability to cross-train in other areas of the department to increase job fluidity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer, Internet, and Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
- Photography experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass pre-hire screenings such as background or drug screenings.
