What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Dockworker/Material Handler position at Horizon Goodwill Industries?
Job Summary: The Dock Worker/Material Handler responsibilities are stage truck loads, load/unload truck, distribute truck returns to their proper locations, and assist with home Pickups as needed under the direction of the Fleet Operations Coordinator.
- Stage truck loads based on daily schedule.
- Unload and distribute truck returns from stores.
- Reload trucks for the next delivery.
- Clean and organize the dock area and keeping it clear of debris.
- Organize and maintain large quantity of seasonal storage items.
- Able to move up and down stairs/ladders without difficulty.
- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
- Capable of lifting to seventy-five (75) pounds with assistance.
- Ability to operate forklift
- Other duties as assigned.
