Description
Applicants with Disabilities are encouraged to apply for the Ability one Custodian position. The Ability One Custodian will perform on-site custodial work as outlined in contract specifications. This position does allow for Extra time on Tasks and other forms of assistance when supported with Documentation.
The Mail Clerk is responsible for completing several repetitive clerical functions that involve the ability to choose the proper procedure for each task.
Essential Functions:
- Sorting and opening in-coming mail.
- Ability to keep work area clean and organized.
- Process the mail through metered machines.
- Calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts.
- Typing and keyboarding skills.
- Deliver mail per the designated building route.
- Make deliveries within the specified delivery times.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One-year experience in mailroom operation preferred (not required).
- Ability to lift up to seventy pounds with assistance.
- Capable of working on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass extensive federal background check.
