What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP (Direct Support Professional) FT Flex position position at Horizon Health, Inc?
Come grow with us! The Direct Support Professional will work as part of the United Friends Team to provide direct support services to the individuals in the home. The services may include: assisting the individuals with personal cares and hygiene, medication and health maintenance, maintaining a clean and safe living environment, meal preparation, support and implantation of goals, medical management and supervising, training and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives. The DSP will ensure that each individual is encouraged to function at his/her optimum level of independence and personal satisfaction. The DSP will complete the designated duties and responsibilities listed in the job, description, as well as any other program duties requested by the supervisor.
Provide excellent customer service to families and individuals.
This position is a flex position and includes hours at our Little Falls and Pierz locations. The position will be a minimum of 32 hours per week but is expected to work 40 hours if hours are available. This would be a non-routine schedule and would require flexibility. This person would need to be available and willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and overnights. This position would require a valid drivers’ license. Due to the flexibility needed, this position offers a $1.00/hr higher starting pay with the range based on experience, as well as shift differentials and a differential for certified nurse assistants (CNAs) who keep their certification valid.
