As a Medical Operations Program Director at Horizon, you will…

Provide direct counseling services as needed.
Ensure that program services are provided consistent with agency standards, regulations, and best practice.
Work closely with the medical leadership team to ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
Provide assistance as needed with accessing training and other resources.
Perform day to day management of the Medical Operations team including management of staff, schedules and access within the provider group.
Ensure compliance with Horizon’s policies and procedures, the regulations of certifying agencies, and the requirements of funding sources.
Manage patient issues related to provider appointments, and assist in case review between treatment team members including clinical counselors and medical providers
Manage and create systems around the Medication only program.
Support in hiring and onboarding of new providers.

What makes you a great candidate?

We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job :

Master’s degree in health and human services field required.

Education / Licensure / Certificates : LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or CASAC required.

Minimum 5 years of counseling experience required.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role required.

Proficiency in computer navigation, Microsoft office products, Electronic medical record software.

Location

This position is located at our 3020, Buffalo NY clinic!

Hours

This position has a Monday - Friday schedule!

Compensation :

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $68,580 - $75,438. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Physical demands associated with this position include :

Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting

Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements

Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
