NURSE MANAGER POSITION- BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Horizon Health is seeking a Nurse with previous supervisory/management experience and acute care psych experience for a Nurse Manager position on the inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit in the Good Hope Hospital in Erwin, NC. This unit is currently 16 adult psych beds but is in the process of expanding to 32 beds. Ages 17 to 70 are seen on this psych unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of overall nursing care to patients for the adult inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Provide managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit.
- Contribute to the program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.
Erwin is only 29 minutes from Fayetteville, NC; 48 minutes from Raleigh; and 51 minutes from Goldsboro, NC.

Qualifications
- Requires BSN or MSN.
- Must have at least 3years experience managing an acute care inpatient psychiatric program in a hospital setting; or have strong acute care inpatient psychiatric experience and other management experience.
