Travel Therapist - LCSW Opportunity

Assignment Details – Licensed Inpatient Therapist

Specialty : Behavioral Health

Location : Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND

Duration : 13 weeks with potential to renew

Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Shift : Days, 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm

Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable

Weekly rate : $2,283 - $2,582

Bi-weekly pay

Paid travel to / from assignment

Job duties to include :

Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team.

Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.

Provide clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.

Provide treatment and case management activities to the patient, which may include individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning.

Perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.

Complete specialized clinical social work services for patients / families, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and provide referrals as needed.

Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

Travel Therapist Job Requirements :

Education : Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or a related field required

Licensure / Certification : Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by state of North Dakota

Experience : one or more years' experience in a behavioral health setting preferred, crisis prevention experience
