Job Summary: As a Permanent Lighting Sales Representative, you will be responsible for engaging potential customers and sharing the benefits of our high-quality lighting products. You will work independently and alongside Sales Management in targeted residential areas, building lasting relationships with homeowners and guiding them through the process of selecting lighting solutions that suit their needs and enhance their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Outreach:
- Identify and connect with potential customers within designated residential territories.
- Initiate conversations and establish rapport with homeowners to understand their lighting needs.
Sales & Customer Education:
- Present and demonstrate our lighting solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
- Educate customers on the design benefits, and long-term value of our products.
- Customize presentations to align with individual customer preferences and property aesthetics.
Relationship Building & Follow-Up:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through consistent, personalized communication.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to maximize conversion rates and ensure customer satisfaction.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
Team Collaboration & Training:
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay informed about new products and sales techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies for success.
Qualifications:
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade.
Self-Motivation:
- A proactive, goal-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Sales Experience:
- Prior experience in sales is an asset, though comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
Adaptability:
- Comfortable working in varied residential settings and adapting to different customer environments.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
