A premier property in the DC area is looking to add a talented and polished Director of Catering to their team, to oversee the sales department and office operations. This company has several decades of proven success and a reputation for exceptional food and service.

This role will oversee all the entire catering sales process, including developing and implementing sales strategies, managing budgets, building client relationships, and ensuring high-quality event execution to achieve revenue goals.
Position Requirements:
- At least 7-10 years of high-volume event sales experience
- Experience leading and mentoring a team
- Experience with either a large scale hotel/venue or offsite catering
- Hospitality degree (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience selling for multiple venues/spaces a plus
- Financial Management and reporting knowledge
- Experience hiring and training employees
- Highly organized, having a true sense of ownership, and motivated for career growth
- Local candidates preferred or ability to commute to the Washington D.C. area
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary, bonus program, comprehensive medical package, 401k, PTO, and much more!
