What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Maintenance position at Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc?
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual for the Head of Maintenance position at a full-service branded hotel in beautiful Saint Cloud, MN. You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager and leading the maintenance team in the regular and preventative maintenance of over 200 rooms, 2 swimming pools, meeting rooms, a restaurant, and all HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. This is a hands-on position where the ideal candidate can complete all maintenance and as many repairs as possible. You will be able to outsource anything that is beyond your capabilities, however, my client is looking for someone who can do a majority of the work in-house.
COMPENSATION: Base Salary $70,000 - $80,000 100% paid health insurance!
Chief Engineer Qualifications:
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) License is preferred for this position
- Minimum of 3 years in hotel maintenance management is preferred
- Experience working with large facilities and multiple rooms is required
- Strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills are required
- Hands-on and willing to work with and supervise a maintenance team is required
- Team player mentality and willing to help out as needed to ensure hotel profitability
