What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Chief Engineer position at HORIZON HOSPITALITY (Hospitality Executive Search)?
We seek an Assistant Chief Engineer for a sophisticated luxury hotel near Stamford, CT with over 500 rooms. This property has a history of leadership in the area, offering fine accommodations, gourmet dining, and a relaxing spa. The position is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who is seeking the opportunity to run the department within a couple of years. Base Salary: $90,000 to $100,000,000, bonus, medical insurance, 401k, PTO and more!
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in the resort, hotel, hospital or multi-family housing industry,
- At least 3 years in the #2 position within your company
- Experience in leading a maintenance team of at least 5 individuals
- History of sound financial management
- Focus on the importance of systems and procedures
- Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.
- Proven success in creating a positive work environment that respects and rewards the staff.
