Horizon Implants is a premier dental implant and surgical practice in Thousand Oaks, specializing in dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, sinus and bone augmentations, and full mouth rehabilitation. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist in surgical and implant procedures, including single implants, wisdom teeth extractions, RCTs and full mouth rehabilitations.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide post-operative instructions.
- Maintain infection control protocols and comply with OSHA & HIPAA regulations.
- Manage supplies and inventory for the clinical area.
- Support front desk duties when necessary, including scheduling and patient communication.
Qualifications:
- Experience in surgical and implant dentistry is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
