Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual (spanish and english) Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes and ensuring a seamless experience for patients in our medical or dental office. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. The Treatment Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. We use open dental software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication regarding treatment plans.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment histories and insurance information.
- Assist patients with understanding their treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with medical or dental staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure that the office complies with all regulatory requirements and maintains a clean, organized environment.
- Address patient inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential to effectively communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Background in medical administrative support or office management is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
