About the Job
The Brand Director may be responsible for, but not limited to:
Lead the Wallaby and Horizon Portfolio of Products in the Shelf Stable Drinks, Yogurt, and Snacking Space. With your team, build and align the 5 year growth strategies, execute with excellence cross functionally, deliver healthy brands, top-and-bottom line growth, household penetration, and an engaged team culture.
- Crafting purpose led brands, refining the positioning, and creating robust long-term platforms that will both drive equity and business growth.
- Delivering best in class creative content and activations, deployed at the right time, in the right place for the right consumers.
- Creatively leveraging trade, consumer, and shopper marketing dollars to maximize brand growth and ROI
- Managing Business performance and key leverage points in P&L (volume, pricing, variable cost, trade, A&P, productivity) to achieve budget commitments.
- Designing and commercializing the end state milk box portfolio with new packaging, new graphics, delivered within a new co-manufacturing network.
- Growing and developing your team to also deliver end state portfolio for Wallaby and Horizon Yogurt, Cheese, and Whiteners/Creamers.
- Quickly building strong relationships with cross-functional partners to drive the business forward
- Understands the regulatory, quality, and food safety environment of a fresh foods business, and can work within parameters to deliver a trusted portfolio to the consumer
- Project leadership through defining, organizing, and executing projects to successfully deliver objectives on time and on budget
- Strive for profitable growth through making relevant strategic data-based choices
- Collaborate with strategy and insights to translate consumer, retailer, and shopper understanding into action
- Understanding trade and retail dynamics and developing a comprehensive brand/category portfolio commercial strategy with the right sales fundamentalism
The base compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience.
About You:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred
- 12-15 Years progressive marketing experience with increasing responsibility, and a proven track record of success in sizeable companies.
- Agility: ability to adapt quickly to different teams and Brand missions, driving for performance and providing business continuity.
- Flexibility: open to supporting various brands (of various size/scope, etc.) and changing focus area (brands/segments/projects) via short-term assignments
- Strong ability to switch between big picture and day-to-day to drive projects forward without losing sight of the overall goals
- Strategic and analytical thinking: ability to shape a vision and a strategy and translate it in concrete actions/plans
- You have a passion for building brands and a proven track-record of breakthrough consumer activation.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written and executive presence to clearly communicate objectives, gain alignment and present their business up and down the organization
- You are an influential, inspirational, and inclusive leader with a growth mindset
