Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ability to learn, operate, and train production operations and validate and track employee’s skill matrix progress.
- Lead coordination and successful execution of the filler turn process with proper communication with operations, quality, and maintenance to ensure process efficiency.
- Support the plant’s continuous improvement efforts.
- When required, cover Lead, Tech and Trainee positions as needed.
- Participate in required DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform BBS & BBQ in Monthly basis.
- Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Operate equipment safely.
- Participate in Monthly Safety and QA Meetings.
- Understand, train, follow and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to CILT (Clean, Inspect, Lube, and Tighten)
- Demonstrates, train, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to centerline machines.
- Ability to create and validate SOPs and One Point Lessons (OPL).
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Communicate any issues and solutions to next shift during pass down meeting.
- Read and follow production schedule.
- Communication of issues with co-workers, maintenance technicians, lead, QA and Processing.
- Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices and PPE.
- Pass and maintain forklift certification.
- Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.
- Escalates issues in a timely manner to team members, support personnel and plant leadership.
- Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned or become evident.
