We are currently looking to hire a Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager, Packaging !
The Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager, Packaging will work with both internal and external partners to identify and execute sourcing strategies for the supply of paper, plastic, corrugate, caps, and film packaging for Horizon’s production network. This position will lead and / or contribute to key sourcing projects while monitoring and driving key performance indicators related to financial performance, quality / legal compliance, and responsible sourcing.
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Broomfield, CO. Travel required up to 25% of the time.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Packaging and Market Management :
- Develop and maintain in-depth category knowledge for paper, plastic, corrugate, caps, and film packaging markets. Sustain an understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Identify, manage & coordinate negotiations, ensuring robust supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
- Develop, present, and gain alignment from senior leaders on key category purchasing recommendations
- Build, launch, and execute regional strategies for key categories, utilizing RFx and other negotiation strategies to implement.

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.
