Position Summary:
The Production Manager (PM) is responsible for hiring crews, scheduling jobs and overseeing landscape & snow crews. The PM will work directly with the Operations Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget. The PM needs to ensure all landscape maintenance and snow services are completed to company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage field crews during landscape and snow seasons
- Order Materials in advance of jobs - often driving a truck and trailer to collect supplies
- Utilize our software system, Aspire to track crews and jobs
- Must be willing to assist with Spring annuals planting
- Required to manage a snow zone, including plowing during snow events (always in the middle of the night - for like, 16 hours at a time.....)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. (must be a self starter) A great attitude and work ethic (non-negotiable)
- Computer skills required
- Ability to effectively communicate, present information and respond to questions, verbal and written
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and crouch
- Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must own and can use a smart phone to log hours and record asset issues
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
