Responsibilities:

• Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.
• Organize and foster a positive, safe environment that is conducive to best meeting the needs of all students, staff and parents.
• Manage and play the key role in resolving all discipline problems in a fair and just manner, and maintains records of any disciplinary action taken.
• Maintain student records related to student behavior.
• Review reports of student misconduct that may require disciplinary action and ensures recommendations/actions conform to school and district policies and State Laws.
• Confer with parents, Administrators, counselors, support service personnel, and students on matters of discipline and welfare.
• Uphold PBIS requirements and organize events.
• Oversee school's emergency management operations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree
• Valid OH certificate/license or must be in the process of obtaining a valid OH certificate/license

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience. Horizon Science Academy offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision, life and disability coverage. Employees participate in Ohio STRS (state retirement system). Tuition Reimbursement available up to 6K per year.
