Purpose of Position: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to develop, establish and enforce the company’s quality programs and policies to ensure HTI exceeds customer and market expectations while contributing to company profitability.
Essential Job Functions:
· Oversee the Quality Department – people, resources and budgets
· Document all processes and procedures in line with company’s ISO certification
· Ensure quality program complies with all regulatory standards, industry standards and accepted best practices
· Assist and guide top management in the implementation and deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System
· Be the lead in E2 Quality Module implementation and maintenance
· Monitor and report the performance of a quality management system, producing data, and measuring quality operations against set standards
· Establish Quality Metrics with top management including Product Quality and On Time Deliveries
· Chair Management Review Meetings
· Where appropriate, advise on changes and offer recommendations on how to implement them; provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
· Liaise with other staff and managers throughout the organization to ensure that the quality management system is effective
· Devise and establish company’s quality procedures, standards, and specifications
· Review customer quality requirements and make sure they are met
· Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers and oversee supplier quality qualification
· Set standards for quality, as well as health and safety issues
· Establish and maintain controls and documentation procedures
· Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
· Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as produce statistical reports
· Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to utilize them
· Make sure the company is working as effective as possible to keep up with competitors
· Contribute to profitability by implementing and monitoring programs that ensure continuous quality improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency
· Provide support for released products, evaluate product field performance and reliability and recommend corrective and preventive actions
· Act as an advocate for your team to leadership / ownership
· Supervise assigned team:
o Act as a line of communication between the team and ownership
o Meet the goals, objectives and deadlines set for your team
o Monitor the performance of individual team members
o Ensure that your team is abiding by the regulations set forth by the company and the government
o Onboard and train up your team
o Give feedback and evaluations to your team
o Allocate duties amongst your team
o Ensure all team’s required documentation is complete and accurate and on time
· Manage internal audit program serving as lead auditor
· Support Operations to make quality parts

Skills & Qualifications:
· 5 years of directly related experience with the Essential Job Functions outlined
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience with ERP systems and the Microsoft Suite
· Ability to read and write in English
· Experience implementing and managing a QMS based on an ISO platform
· Exemplary communication and team work skills
· Fast paced worker with a good work ethic, technical aptitude, experience in manufacturing and willingness to learn are essential traits for this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
