Job Decription: This role will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and safety programs at our automotive specialty tool company. This role will collaborate closely with our Production, Engineering, and Management teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and a safe working environment for all employees.
Duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for automotive specialty tools.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Manage and maintain the company's safety program, including training, incident reporting, and hazard identification.
- Investigate and resolve quality and safety issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Management teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including ISO, OSHA, and other applicable requirements.
- Monitor and report on key quality and safety performance indicators.
- Conduct regular quality and safety audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field with a minium of 2 years of experience in quality control and safety management.
or
- Associates Degree Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including ISO, OSHA, and other relevant requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
