We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals/Homemaker Personal Care Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional/Homemaker Personal Care Professional, you will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting. This is NOT an ICF facility.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean living environment
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their personal goals
Experience:
- Experience in caregiving
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
