Are you a data enthusiast with a knack for turning numbers into actionable insights? We are looking for a talented Data Analyst II to join our team and help us drive business decisions through data manipulation and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Extract and manipulate data to address business problems and provide solutions.
- Respond to new requests for reports/data, understanding customer objectives and refining requirements.
- Extract data directly from relational databases such as SQL and Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights.
- Format data for business use in tools like Excel and Access.
- Create and maintain scripts and macros to automate reports.
- Identify and communicate data quality issues or discrepancies.
- Document unique aspects or limitations of data to aid understanding.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of data associated with at least one line of business (LOB).
- Generate insights and recommendations from reports to support business decisions.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adhoc SQL with 2-4 years of experience.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel with 2-4 years of experience.
- Experience with VBA for 1-2 years.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server with 2-4 years of experience.
- Experience in developing Power BI dashboards with 2-4 years of experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Medicare data.
- Comfortable working with new and unstructured data sets.
