Responsibilities
- Lead and provide thought leadership for the data team .
- Design and develop data pipelines and storage solutions using AWS technologies such as Aurora, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
- Oversee data migration projects, including migrating from Oracle and DB2.
- Implement complex solutions and architectural design patterns across multiple platforms.
- Manage data in AWS and ensure best practices in database management.
- Communicate solution options and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Skills
- Extensive experience (10 years) in designing and developing data pipelines and storage using AWS technologies.
- Proven track record in data migration for large programs.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Proficient in data management within AWS.
- Skilled in data mapping, ETL/ELT frameworks, and streaming data processing.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with additional AWS services and tools.
- Background in financial services or government agencies.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
