IT Technical Specialist, SAP OTC

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Specialist with expertise in SAP OTC to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects and make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise and direction in the development and support of application systems and programming requirements.
• Prepare application system specifications and develop, test, and implement efficient, cost-effective application solutions.
• Coordinate with external partners and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops for project scoping and estimation.
• Manage compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
• Conduct technical configuration, code reviews, solution testing, and user training.
• Serve as a technical expert, leading projects and guiding technical staff in developing and implementing new solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new software, utilities, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Deliver all project documentation, including change requests, testing, and system validation.

Skills

• Degree in IT or a complementary business field.
• 10-13 years of experience in SAP OTC process areas, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong problem determination and resolution skills.
• Excellent collaboration and partnering abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Understanding of process costs and service level agreements.

Preferred Skills

• Prior management experience in a technical environment.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Ability to establish relationships and achieve results through others.
