Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Java API Lead/Architect to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic and technical leadership, ensuring the development of scalable and maintainable solutions for our Knowledge as a Service platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and secure architecture for the Knowledge as a Service (KaaS) platform, aligning with business and technical needs.
- Identify and capture technical work in collaboration with product teams, creating epics and features.
- Provide guidance on best practices in API development and knowledge/metadata services.
- Oversee the integration of TopBraid – Enterprise Data Governance with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, data governance groups, and business stakeholders to align the KaaS platform with broader enterprise initiatives.
- Define and enforce development standards, security protocols, and architectural best practices.
- Ensure the KaaS platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor development teams in leveraging technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, Event-Driven Architecture, Java APIs, Linux/Unix, JavaScript, and Agile methodologies.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and governance models.
Skills
- 7 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or enterprise data governance.
- Expertise in semantic technologies, enterprise knowledge graphs, and data governance frameworks.
- Advanced experience with cloud architectures and microservices.
- Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Deep understanding of RDF, OWL, SPARQL, GraphQL, and SKOS.
- Strong communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TopBraid or similar knowledge graph platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
