What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead UX UI Designer position at Horizontal Talent?
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead UX / UI Designer for a contract role through the end of 2025. This is a pivotal leadership position that involves mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, facilitating workshops, participating in leadership meetings, and ensuring the quality of UX / UI deliverables. This role will also involve some hands-on design work.
Responsibilities :
- Mentorship and Coaching : Provide timely feedback and assign tasks based on team members' strengths and growth areas.
- Relationship Building & Collaboration : Foster smooth collaboration with other disciplines and maintain a close working relationship with product / project leadership.
- Facilitation & Active Participation : Plan and facilitate design thinking and discovery workshops. Actively participate in product / project leadership meetings and other collaborative sessions.
- Deliverable Quality : Uphold the highest design standards, ensuring that designs are based on data and research. Contribute hands-on design work and create delightful, data-driven, accessible solutions.
