Position Overview:
As the Technical Product Owner, you will play a critical role in managing the development and successful launch of a multi-channel marketplace platform built on Adobe Commerce for both physical products and subscription-based offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs, enhance user experience, and drive business growth.

This role requires a strong understanding of Adobe Commerce. You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and translating business needs into technical requirements while ensuring the successful integration between frontend and backend systems. You'll also manage projects using Rally, AHA!, to ensure smooth execution and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the multi-channel marketplace, focusing on physical products and subscription goods. Ensure that product developments align with business objectives and customer needs, particularly leveraging the features of Adobe Commerce.
  • Backlog Management:
    Prioritize and manage the product backlog by writing clear user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria. Use Rally, AHA!, to manage the backlog, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Engage with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and gather feedback. Be the voice of the customer while balancing business objectives with technical feasibility, particularly when it comes to integrating Adobe Commerce, and integrations needed with other back end systems or applications.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility and successful implementation of features in Adobe Commerce. Resolve technical challenges and ensure scalability of the platform.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Coordinate with design, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all departments. Ensure the user experience (UX) for both physical product purchases and subscription services is seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly across all channels.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing:
    Define acceptance criteria and work with QA teams to ensure that product features meet the highest quality standards, particularly in terms of Adobe Commerce integration. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on e-commerce platforms, particularly Adobe Commerce
    • Experience in developing a marketplace on Web and Native Mobile App channels
    • Experience working with subscription-based business models is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Experience with multi-channel, omnichannel, or cross-platform product development is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Experience with leading agile ceremonies for development team
    • Ability to balance business needs with technical capabilities.
    • Proficiency with Rally, AHA!, for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking product development progress.
    • Need a strong dual Product/Scrum candidate with experience leading agile ceremonies for the development team, standup, sprint planning, grooming, etc.
    • This person needs to work autonomously and track the teams' status as it relates to the work.
