Software Architect - Client Server

We are seeking a talented Software Architect with expertise in client-server architecture to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative search solutions that enhance user experiences and meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement search solutions, integrating them with Java-based systems.
• Optimize search infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective search solutions.
• Create and manage search indexing pipelines using advanced search engines.
• Enhance search system performance through strategic improvements.
• Utilize tools and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Maven.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming, ideally version 8 or later.
• Extensive experience with search engines like Elasticsearch and Apache Solr.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and storage architectures.
• Experience with microservice architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of machine learning methods for search relevancy and ranking.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) to collaborate with UI teams.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and procedures.
