Our client is seeking a dedicated Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence one day per week and a rotating weekend schedule every four weeks.
As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and prioritizing issues impacting our client's technology. You will perform knowledge-based recovery of incidents and events, and communicate with end-users through both verbal and written channels. Your role will also involve executing repeatable tasks, including maintenance, deployments, monitoring, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess and prioritize technology issues
Perform knowledge-based recovery of incidents and events
Communicate effectively with end-users
Execute repeatable tasks such as maintenance, deployments, and monitoring
Engage and partner with other technology teams
Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience working in a service desk or operations center and a basic understanding of ITIL. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as are strong fundamentals of infrastructure and / or application technologies in an enterprise environment. More specific and advanced skills are required for Storage, Network, and other core technologies.
