Employee Liaison (Bilingual)–Live Production – CO Willmar
Full Time – Hourly
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.44 - $24.41 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Employee Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and will play a crucial role in bridging communication between our Spanish-speaking employees and the management team. This position involves providing support, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment for all live production employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking employees, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs.
- Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, ensuring that language barriers do not hinder understanding or productivity.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide translation services for company documents, meetings, and training sessions as needed.
- Support HR in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by organizing and conducting new hire orientation activities.
- Maintain accurate records of employee interactions and follow up on outstanding issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to employee support.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (day travel) within live production areas in MN/WI.
- Must meet all Live Production Biosecurity requirements.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience in an employee relations or HR role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
