Job Purpose: To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products
Responsibilities:
- Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of a full-time Team Leader
- Review production processes against the current Process Specification Summary
- Assist Team Leaders with information gathering to optimize performance
- Document job descriptions for key positions, identifying major accountabilities
- Assist with the supervision of a staff of approximately 15-30 employees
- The position is very hands-on - interns are usually in the production area “on-their-feet” about 80% of the shift
Requirements:
- Must graduate in August 2025, December 2025, or May 2026 and major in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Industrial Management, or related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position
- Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
- This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.
Location and Hours:
- Location possibilities include Atlanta, GA, Austin, MN, Dubuque, IA, Osceola, IA, Rochelle, IL, or Willmar, MN
- Location is based on business needs at the time an offer is made
- Position is approximately 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August
Compensation/Benefits:
- Competitive wage
- The base pay rate $23.50 per hour
