What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rochelle Foods - Tool Room Attendant - 2025 position at Hormel Foods Family of Companies?
The schedule for this position is a rotating schedule, 4 – 12 hour days, Wednesday – Saturday and 3- 12 hour days Thursday – Saturday. Hours of work are approximately 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.
Starting Pay for this position is $22.50 per hour $0.75 shift differential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position:
- Puts away delivered parts in the respective locations
- locates and issues parts to maintenance personnel,
- performs inventory cycle counts,
- records inventory transactions in the Infor EAM application,
- assists in confirmation of details of purchase orders, such as quantities ordered, pricing, and delivery dates
- assists with organization and housekeeping of the tool room area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to learn computer applications (Microsoft office, EAM, data collection).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Preferred
- Experience with personal computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Excel
