Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and organized Human Resources Clerk to support our HR department. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of HR processes and contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
• Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits and payroll.
• Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts and policy updates.
• Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is a plus.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.43 - $24.41 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
