Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced repairs and preventative maintenance on various equipment systems and buildings, including technical service of the areas
- Ability to meet internal and external customer expectations
- Must be able to work scheduled weekends and holiday hours
- Must be able to work overtime hours
Minimum Qualifications
- Read and understand, interpret electronic and electrical schematics for environment controllers and alarm systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills managing own workload and maintain inventories
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with good operating record
- Understand and perform computer functions on alarms and ventilation controllers
- Performance results must have met expectations in attendance, dependability, performance, work quality, behavior, cooperation and safety
- PHYSICAL: No restrictions doing repetitive activities of lifting, bending, twisting or climbing
- Must be able to work in a hot and dusty environment with ammonia present
- No restrictions of wearing personal protective devices
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational degree related in agricultural confinement building systems and maintenance
- Four years of verifiable experience in repair of assets and equipment of poultry production facilities
- Advanced training in diagnosing problems and repair of environmental controllers and alarm systems

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $21.25 - $29.75 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
