RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for managing certain day-to-day Cost Accounting tasks, including but not limited to : Daily production review, analysis, entry, and reconciliation (including investigating variances)Daily review of costing and inventory exception reports.Manage weekly and quarterly cycle counting procedures with adherence to company policies.Creating and distributing accounting reports as necessary.Updating / Maintaining BOM’s for existing items.
- Complete period close (monthly) tasks, including analyzing data, writing journal entries, and Accounting reports / scorecards.
- Assists in the other duties as directed by their supervisor as the incumbent builds on their experiences.

At Planters / Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $58,000-$81,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
