SUMMARY :
This position works on the IT Communications team with a focus on wireless, switching and communications solutions used in our offices, production warehouse and manufacturing facilities at an enterprise scale. The role requires providing support to remote sites as well as project-based deployments, discovering new technologies, improving existing technologies, and keeping our networks and data systems secure. This role will require occasional evenings and weekends to provide support or implement systems during outage windows.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Architect, implement, and manage enterprise network wireless and switching environment(s) and services used throughout the company, in subsidiaries, production and warehouse locations.
- Administer and maintain business critical enterprise wireless and switching environment(s) and services used throughout the company in subsidiaries, production plants, and warehouse locations.
- Provide wireless / switching Level 3 support issue / problem resolution of business-critical infrastructure environment(s) and services
- Provide project management of medium and large network related projects across the enterprise
QUALIFICATIONS :
Level of position offered (Staff Systems Engineer or Systems Engineer) will be determined based on candidate's experience and skill set.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Staff Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer role role is between $76,700 - $128,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
