RESPONSIBILITIES :
This is a Walmart Category Management position which is responsible for working directly with the Walmart buying team on the categories we support. This position leads in category strategy development, advance analytics that align with the customer business goals and growth expectations. This position executes space planning for the categories we compete.
This position will have one direct report who is responsible for advising Walmart on their specific category.
This position is responsible for analyzing business issues, providing business insights and recommendations in the areas of modular strategies, assortment, shelving, pricing, and merchandising to drive business results for Walmart.
- Provides periodic and ad-hoc reporting based on issues discovered in the regular reporting that digs deep into markets and products issues with solid recommendations.
- Monthly delivery of actionable (actionable=answer the so what action) tracking reports to include but not limited to :
assortment optimization

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $93,900-$131,475 per year , and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
