Weekend Package Radiology Tech (On-Call)

Weekend Package option for On-Call Radiology Technologist. The employee will be on call from 5:30pm on Friday until 5:30pm on Sunday for a $1000/weekend. This amount of pay will not fluctuate based upon how many times the employee is called in during the weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
• Must be able to perform both general x-ray and CT
• Produces accurate, well-defined images.
• Assures that all required consent forms are signed prior to examinations.
• Practices radiation safety for self and patients’ safety.
• Processes images and prepare them for reading by the radiologist.
• Staff called in are encouraged to arrive as quickly as possible but are required to be at the hospital within 30 minutes of getting called in.

Qualifications:
• Education: Completed a two year approved program in Radiologic Technology. Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Maintains an Iowa Permit to Practice and follows all requirements as mandated by the State of Iowa.
• Experience: One year of experience is preferred.

This position is employed on a PRN status, with no guarantee of scheduled hours/shifts.

Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire. Position open until filled.
