SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, industry experience may be acceptable in-lieu of degree
Skills: Strong or expert proficiency in of use Microsoft Office applications including "Windows" operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook (e-mail), SharePoint, and other business software and databases. High proficiency in reading, writing and editing business documents and communications.
Experience
At least 5 years in a role requiring high attention to detail
Some familiarity with the Marine Transportation or related industry
Familiarity with tender or bid submission portals and processes

Job Description
SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track and submit bids on time to customers, with price and technical specifications which reconcile the Company's and the customer's expectations
- Provide answers to pre-qualification file requests; Read and understand customer's RFQs and specifications
- Coordinate with Sales team, Engineering team and central functions teams (Legal, HR, Operations and Accounting)
- Review and summarize bids identifying key issues or concerns
- Assess risks associated with the RFQ (client, planning, over cost, political, etc.), mitigation of risks and compliance with internal procedures
- Assist in estimating costs of the offer
- Support in Building Profit & Loss scenarios (worst / best case scenarios)
- Create detailed summaries of proposals in tender review process
- Write and prepare offers in compliance with client submission requirements
- Forward and explain project details to Project Managers through contract review.
- Travel offshore onboard company vessels to better understand the business
- Participate in client events or industry events from time to time
- All other duties as assigned by the Manager
