City Experiences is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Sales operations.
About You :
This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity :
The successful Business Development Manager will develop and execute on our super-charged efforts to drive revenue generating relationships on the national and local level. Guided by entrepreneurial thought and consistent efforts, this position will drive incremental revenue at the individual and group level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Indy Direct / Indirect Markets :
- Re-introduce our standardized concierge referral program to all hotels within the market, with a goal of doubling year-over-year revenue.
- Partner with local universities and colleges to become a ticket re-seller for their employee perks programs, offering tickets on consignment (Harvard / MIT concept)
- Establish HR ticket distribution programs with all local Fortune 500 companies, offering tickets at a discounted rate with the goal of improving brand recognition within the corporate market while driving direct ticket sales.
- Seek out any other revenue producing partnership that would prove to be a positive margin generator, then work with revenue management and leadership to develop out packaging.
- Work in conjunction with the General Manager to build a more sales facing ticket booth operation and street team, with the goal of building our presence within our cities.
- Identify potential areas for kiosk locations, to drive more ad-hoc sales in areas with high foot traffic.
- Work with leadership to create new packaging that bundles City Cruises product with Walks and Devour products, potentially exclusive packaging that can be sold by our concierge market.
- Partner with the top 10 festivals in each port, with the goal of offering attendees discounted rates to come cruise aboard one of our products while they are in town.
