About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Ticket Agent to join our team at City Experiences. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for interacting with ferry riders to coordinate ticket sales while providing exceptional customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ferry ticket sales in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Maintain accountability for all receipts and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Preserve the Steilacoom waiting area to the highest levels of cleanliness in accordance with client standards.
- Execute daily checks of the facility to ensure cleanliness and safety; take immediate corrective action as necessary.
- Raise the bar for outstanding guest service by being an active advocate of our Safety Culture and Code of Conduct.
- Provide professional level of customer service and appearance to all clients, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to effectively interact with passengers, guests, and fellow employees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment and process calculations frequently and continuously.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accountability for tasks assigned.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Minimum one (1) year cash handling experience and six (6) months customer service experience.
- Proven track record of working well in a team environment and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
