The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in reporting. This role involves managing accounting staff, improving financial processes, and working closely with senior leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.

- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP / IFRS.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings.
- Assist in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Accounting Operations
- Manage general ledger functions and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reporting.
- Implement and enforce internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Technology and Systems
- Oversee and optimize the use of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure proper data integrity and security in financial systems.
- Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Support financial planning and analysis efforts with accurate data and insights.
