Summary
This position will focus primarily on the sale industrial fan parts and fabrication services. This role will assist in the effective, timely, and accurate implementation of orders for new product sales. This position will participate with inside sales, planning, and logistics to accurately process customer orders. The candidate will be required to assist in the completion of relevant documentation such as bills of materials and order processing. This position also serves as the day-to-day interface for both external and internal order completion and related data as is shown in the company’s ERP system .
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of bills of materials, customer orders and invoices in electronic and hard copy formats.
- Provide customer support including order status, quotes, and changes; initial commit dates; follow up on changes.
- ·Work customer service counter and handle face to face interactions with customers
- Coordination and communication of order expedite requests to production control.
- Responsible for basic document maintenance and the updating of all order and sales reports from the ERP system.
- Assists in the confirmation of orders once entered into ERP system. May be required to enter orders as needed as back-up to customer service.
- Assist in scheduling and coordination for the transport of goods and materials with Shipping.
- Make occasional local pickup or delivery runs in company provided vehicle during regular shift hours and overtime hours as needed
- Provide both customer and inside sales support function of customer queries.
- Work and multi-task autonomously.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service or sales related function.
- Experience with shipping and receiving and/or inventory control
- HVAC and/or Metal Fabrication knowledge highly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic level of proficiency in ERP Systems preferred.
- Must be well organized and able to track multiple projects and perform simultaneous tasks
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task numerous activities but remain immediately available for incoming calls.
- Must demonstrate strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment with multiple locations.
- Must be able to maintain a high sense of urgency to meet customer deadlines
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
